This isn't just a list of promises. This is a blueprint for a new Delhi
I didn't get into politics to play by the old rules. I founded the Bahujan Queer Party because our communities needed a new vision. But the system is built to resist change. I learned that you can't wait for the right party or the right time. You have to fight for these principles now, as an independent, accountable only to the people.
OUR THREE PILLARS OF CHANGE
PILLAR 1: आर्थिक न्याय (ECONOMIC JUSTICE)
Guaranteed Employment & Labor Rights:
We will introduce legislation to ensure fair wages, secure contracts, and put an end to the exploitation of gig workers. Your hard work must be respected and rewarded.
Reservation in the Private Sector:
Equality of opportunity cannot stop at the government’s door. We will fight to implement reservation policies for SC/ST/OBC and Queer individuals in private companies operating in Delhi.
Support for Small Businesses:
End the bureaucratic nightmare. We will create single-window clearances and provide targeted financial support for the small shops and local businesses that are the backbone of Delhi’s economy.
End Contractual Hiring in Government Jobs:
Secure, permanent government jobs for the youth of Delhi. We will end the exploitative system of temporary and contractual hiring for essential services.
PILLAR 2: सामाजिक सम्मान (SOCIAL DIGNITY)
A Real Anti-Discrimination Law: We will draft and pass a comprehensive law that makes discrimination on the basis of caste, religion, gender identity, or sexual orientation a punishable offense in housing, employment, and public services.Police Reform & Accountability: The police must serve the people, not the powerful. We will establish an independent civilian board to oversee police conduct, with the power to investigate and discipline officers for misconduct.Safe and Inclusive Public Spaces: Well-lit streets, accessible public transport, and gender-neutral public toilets. Safety and access are non-negotiable rights for every citizen.Protecting and Strengthening the Constitution: Our agenda is the Indian Constitution. We will fiercely oppose any law, bill, or policy that seeks to dilute the rights and protections guaranteed to every citizen.PILLAR 3: रहने लायक शहर (A LIVABLE CITY)
Free Basic Amenities, Guaranteed:
Up to 300 units of free electricity and 20,000 litres of free, clean water for every household. These are not handouts; they are essential services your taxes should already be paying for.
World-Class Public Education & Healthcare:
We will invest in our government schools and hospitals to ensure they are the first and best choice for every citizen, not the last resort. Free education up to post-graduation for all Delhi residents.
A Green and Breathable Delhi:
An aggressive plan to combat pollution by massively expanding public transport, creating green zones, and holding polluting industries accountable with heavy fines. Our children deserve to breathe clean air.
Infrastructure Built for People, Not for PR:
We will conduct a full audit of all existing infrastructure projects and re-prioritize funding towards what our communities actually need: local roads, working drainage systems, and last-mile connectivity.
